Friday @ Five - Closet edition

Here's an easy project for the weekend. It's going to help you simplify your wardrobe - in about 6 months. The steps to take: go to every closet at home and turn the hangers backwards. Instead of hanging from the front to back, hook from the back to front. Mark you calendar for 6 months from now saying "clear the closets" (I'll post a reminder in 6 months, too).

Hangers From today on; each time you wear an article of clothing and hang it up after the day, hook the hanger from front to back in the 'usual' manner.  [you can see where you're going with this] In 6 months you will go through probably 3 seasons.

When 6 months pass, those items that you haven't worn will still be hooked on the rod from back to front. You won't have to decide if you still like something... it will be evident that you either don't like it, you like other things better, it doesn't fit or it's out of style. Start preparing now to trust your actions: If you haven't worn that jacket, those pants, and any shirt in 6 months, you can trust it's time to pass it on to those who have less.
